I Dare Dream of Peace

I dare dream of peace,
Not of the type of the leftist,
Not a peace that tramples on rights,
Not a peace that ignores G-d.
I dare dream of peace,
Not as a partial reality,
But as a full and wholesome place,
As a home filled with safety.
I dare dream of peace,
One that unites all who seek it,
One that heal all who speak it,
One that settles our conviction.
I dare dream of peace,
Whilst we are deep in war,
When evil forces manipulate,
While lawyers investigate.
I dare dream of peace,
When we cannot get along,
When we fight for too long,
When our values are trampled on.
I dare dream of peace,
The kind that calms down the heart,
The type that soothes humanity,
The peace that ends this insanity.
I dare dream of peace,
With a throne of the Divine,
With a unity unbound,
With all of us as One.
I dare dream of peace,
Of love flowing as rivers,
Of compassion strengthening our figures,
Of kindness elevating the healers.
I dare dream of peace,
As we war against terror,
As we do not accept haters,
As we force justice of truth.
I dare dream of peace,
For nothing else will do,
For only peace will break through,
To the palace we will build for You.
