Anger of Angels

A step away from growing pains,
A pull and a tug on your shoulder,
If you do not look at me, I will falter,
Searing in the pain of exposure.
Deep breaths in as the rest is plucking,
A line of heat that just keeps expanding,
You cross over all lines, so reckless, this is frightening,
Swallowing my peace in these flaming oceans.
I cannot rise, the burn has etched my flesh,
My soul is drenched from the whips of your heat.
Yet You are with me, soothing, calming; this will not break,
No screaming in vain, in pain.
The tears are endless and quietly numbing,
Pouring over and putting out internal desires.
With You as my pillar, my river can flow,
An overflow of strength; oh, this intoxicating whispering breath.
Hovering over the abyss of all souls,
Waters sparkle with each drop, relieving each burn that bit me,
Overflowing with love, You take me in with acceptance,
For I have fallen before, this was not the first present.
I have fallen more times than the drops of the sky,
Each time You remind me, and provide endless power,
With You I become that infinite flower,
Ever growing, after - evolving, blossoming and bleeding Your glory, this is no disaster.
For You I will nourish each thorn that adorned me,
Just put down your anger - instead,
Please guard me;
Please come, console me.
