Hasidot (Storks) AI Art by Ashrei Ima Sari

A memory from days of old,

A young damsel, away from the herd -

True companionship, a true heart - a dog by her side,

Desert dew is due, tiping each blade of grass,

Barefoot, silently striding through, a morning,

Fields of lush wheat, she will not retreat,

A still step, a hushed creep, a toe on a field,

Eye to eye, they see her - yet they stand tall - still,

They welcome her near, with no fear at all.

Although she is a princess, no rescue is needed,

With respect, they obey the commandment - to value,

They all keep their distance, hiding in plain sight,

She admires from afar, yet pulled closer by their thoughts,

As she steps into their arena, leaning into each stride,

Hasidot spread their wings, a movement of air - not a cry

What is it - a good deed, a kindness, or a flapping of fear?

A bird is unbounded to the grounds she reveers.

An act of piety, soaring into deep faith,

A wave of hasidot is spreading throughout this holy place,

Deliver your babies, bring life back to earth,

This flock will birth her, break her shell, let her soar,

Splitting seas, splitting winds, it's all one and the same,

This eggshell is cracking, a peek at this dream is not in vain,

A world fixed by hope; where joy is the union of love and its pain,

Hasidah is what she is, inside and out; it is not a false claim.

Do not let misdeeds fool you,

Nor allow illusions of confusion drain you,

For only the purest have walked amongst the flock of hasidot -

Wings spread high, a wave of birds, a breeze of beauty,

A resonating rhythm - cutting through these true events,

Hasidot will engulf all the pain she has seen - yet-

Watching over with winds, spread out to protect,

A revelation of light, an inspiration for faith -

A sight to behold, another old story now told.

Hasidah is the glory of that one Divine bird.
