Save me, G-d

Don't let this happen.

Reach down to me,

Give me Your shelter. 

Your wings have stopped protecting me,

They are bruised and disfigured. 

Your light won't reach the depth of all of this evil.

Walk me out of here,

Stay by my side.

Do not let them touch me, 

I am too broken, all shattered inside.

Your warmth has turned into an icy sting.

Your compassion seems too costly for me. 

You lay my head on Your grass,

But every blade cuts through my skin.

No comfort will come from here,

They can all see right through my being.

Cut me again, slice me to pieces,

For I have seen how You heal -

With my ashes You paint - awaken. 

Take a breath, let it hurt,

G-d, break me again, again - You do.

Use me, I am Your matter,

build me as You did back then. 

Turn me into Your garden,

A new Eden in all directions,

Reassure me, feed me to the skies - my home.

My love; this is spinning out of control,

G-d, I see all this gleaming.

I am broken into air,

You mix me into Your existence . 

How can you fix me? 

Is this freedom or despair? 

You break me down and leave me?

You crash my life and stay away? 

Who is waiting for whom? Me for You or You for us all? 

Wake up and believe this, each day, a little more.

Away with voices of others, let go of what they did to you,

It is their noise that covers; I hear Your voice - heal is true. 

I neglected to notice,

You were right there with me.

When I fell open - You suffered too,

For You are me and I am for You.

Collect me once more, gather me into creation.

Light me, unite me, build me into Your perfection. 

Carry all my broken pieces,

Scatter my ashes in the winds.

Engrave my dust onto Your presence,

And guide me to the next action,

Save me from this lost existence,

Help me return freer, fuller - in peace.
