A thousand years will not suffice,

for a soul craving Your side.

Together, ripped away from all there ever was,

Fumbling from body to body searching a calm.

Even through vast distances, Your sparks are always around,

Lighting this soul, igniting its being.

Your gaze reaches across wide waters,

A divine wind that carries a cry to Your sorrows.

From the purest of gardens to dreams of temples,

Souls are yearning for a union so refined, so alluring.

Tested through survival through time,

A waiting game that hungers for light to be claimed.

Stretched thin to encompass all who ever were,

And trust that when shattered you will lift up - reassure.

The sun, so strong; we will never give in,

Holding to its course as forces consume the air it is in.

Revolving worlds around it, powerful and fierce,

Gentle and kind the sun is to its solitude and bliss.

A thousand years more, gone by in an instant,

A love so strong, that no sin will deny it.

Taken in, united, bring life to exalt in,

It contains ultimate power, heavenly matter.

There, again, and always here, and forever in its moment -

A movement of supporting, guiding, and giving to all he will hear.

My faith is in Your hands, my fear lies in Your shadow.

My devotion attracts towards You, my reverence collects me into Your power.

Your battle is over, our fight is done, take this soul into Your arms,

With You, each fall only strengthens my trust.
