So tired of the day, yet night is unwilling to provide rest.
I wish you would take me, keep my soul safe.
My eyes try closing all my heart refused to shut.
Ignore the pulling whispers of these echoes from the dark.
Another spirit broken, this silence evolves.
My legs will not carry, my soul rejects these grounds.
What hands will bear my permeating heart?
Who will will me back? My laugh awaits your sacrifice of life.
Have you any reflections on what is to come?
Days of darkness and bright night.
The tension arises, captivating every sense.
Contracted in cages, refusing to give in despite the aches.
A murmur, a rustling, a hum, or a prayer?
Will you reach through the distance, through this endless despair?
Have your eyes ever gazed at the brilliance of a full repair?
In stillness, with calmness, a loud silence abides,
All that you flow through is my time - my life - my crime.
Rivers of light, of passion, delight and - my love,
Passing through gardens, lush experiences; oh, the joy;
Holds a silence so full, it is haunting, and in it - you,
For You are now my home.
