When you repeat it every day,
Nature will endorse you,
God will send his other friends,
To come and to adore you.
A morning swim in northern lakes,
A routine unseen by others,
Connects you to the essence;
Your truth - one with the other.
When you repeat, and stay attached,
All who swim come to explore you,
Yet one is braver than the rest -
With strength and beauty, keeps enduring.
A voice so soothing when he calls,
Eyes, so sharp examine all,
Not who I am, but who my soul is,
Face to face, arm-length apart.
A bloody eye, black and white feathers,
A connection reveals G-d's true intentions,
Instructions secretly given, on winds,
An angel or a loon - a swimmer's routine.
Another truth told in another story,
A sunrise, a loon, God's teacher - a bird,
Sensing towards this new direction,
Freedom isn't won for all - there always was;
The one - a loon.
