In a culture of work

We sometimes forget,

To know when to rest

is to flow towards success.

For working non-stop, 24/7,

Will drain out your power, health and - heaven

forbid external voices who reach

your soul knows the speed of your path.

Sometimes, on the way up, it is needed -

To take a break, recuperate, intuit into it.

Under all that desperate isolation,

There is a pure heart that just wants affection.

The illusion that we all carry around,

Is that this heart is not yours, it is Mine.

But look very closely and you will see,

It’s your heart that is yearning to come to Me.

For I have witnessed and touched the external,

And through me you get to stop being nocturnal.

So open your heart, it’s really simple;

Like opening eyes after a long cold winter.

All that it takes is a little imagination,

That what you are feeling is the truth of our connection.

Shatter the heart that conceals your essence,

And breathe in the smile that will wake up your life.

Feel it within - a fire keeps expanding - out of control.

Through this open heart you will see,

This world is quite stunning.

Thank you, dear universe, for the beauty you provided.

Thank you, old friend, for the comfort you sprouted.
