To Be Seen

Is it a sin,

To wish to be seen?

Is it wrong,

To share all I have with only one?

Can I ever find a way,

To be seen without giving myself away?

Is it truly possible,

To offer my love to You, while it is love that I desire?

For You are calling me to shed my skin,

You are directing me to speak with many,

You are asking that I stay Yours alone,

While guiding me into the arms of love.

Answer me, You hold that power,

Is it Your Unity that I so desire?

Respond to this humbled pained heart,

Is it toward Your freedom that I aspire?

Expose me, show me, make me visible to all,

Too long You have kept me in darkness,

Your concealment cannot possibly prolong,

Gaze, behold, grasp this essence - it is mine to have and give.

An offering of Angels,

A taste of light seeps in,

The smells of winds from all corners,

A life well lived - in You.
