A glimmer in the dark,
shines on sorrow so vast.
A collapse of a cry ‘give up!’
give it all - up.
Where life used to flux,
emptiness is present,
a present, anew, awaiting,
who for who wills - to serve.
A crescendo of cries,
at its solitude dies.
In silence, a hush
becalmed still.
Healed by the thread of a voice,
truth echoes, louder than answers.
A thunderous whisper,
shatters despair.
Ascension in trust,
devotion to love,
credence of joy,
forever unfolding.
All that you'll know,
emerging, in patterns,
in habits not dead,
find answers, responses, a persistent reply.
Reactions, compliancy, a restoration untold,
the return of Your voice,
to the core of my soul,
a dance of repentance.
Ebb and flow with remorse,
sorrow for all that's been wronged,
return towards returning,
Teshuva, here I come.
Return Your answer to me,
meet me half way,
accept my cleansed soul,
so I can stop running away.
