You Have This Power

Do not fear punishment,

Fear the power of Your G-d.

Do not search for truth in a world of lies.

Sense the truth in His breath, in the smell of His wind.

Bat-Kol* will bring judgement from the Divinity found within.

A sound so stable and strong,

Will chastise the wicked, the spreaders of lies,

For a snake does not sin, it unveils and reveals -

A path of healing and truth available only to those who believe.

Hissing tongues, like rods afire,

Holding you up, bracing you higher.

Smitten by the breath of righteous passions,

With the innocence and simplicity of youth, wisdom arises.

One glance, one word, will send evil to its grave,

Complications and context will be a memory that shows - we prevailed,

Separated, examined and talking all day,

It brought us to here and to now - where too few of us dare make another step.

There is nothing but oneness, no matter what lens you use,

And in the name of His unity truth cannot be abused.

But it takes a mind of creation, a creativity sublime,

To piece this world back together, one piece at a time.

So we will, and we will will this vision into life,

So reach our hands out to the piece by our side.

Reaching out to another, touch a life every day -

It is in us that we will find it -

The lost trust of this day and age.

And You are Divinity, You have this power -

To heal all we broke, it takes your individual strength.

Trust this light within, let that spark begin - grow.

A smile goes a long way, a kind word fixes the world.
